Ο αιδεσιμότατος Murphy γεννήθηκε στο Μπρούκλιν της Νέας Υόρκης, εκατοντάδες χρόνια πριν, ένα ζεστό καλοκαίρι.
Είχε ένα γιο και μια κόρη τον Freddie Murphy και την Chiara Lee.
Ακολούθησαν δύο διαφορετικούς δρόμους: η μικρή Lee πήγε στην Κίνα, ενώ ο Freddie παρέμεινε στο Μπρούκλιν.
Είχαν επαφή για ένα διάστημα, στη συνέχεια, χάθηκαν για πολλά χρόνια.
Πριν από τρία χρόνια συναντήθηκαν και πάλι στη Βενετία, όπου βαφτίστηκαν από τον "εφημέριο" Vittorio Demarin (ο οποίος αποτελεί και το τρίτο μέλος της μπάντας) και το όνομα αυτών : Father Murphy.
Οι τρεις μαζί ζούσαν στο Μπρούκλιν για ένα διάστημα, μετά μετακόμισαν στο Βερολίνο.
Ζώντας τώρα στην Ιταλία, κάνουν live και κυκλοφορούν άλμπουμ μόνο και μόνο για να διαδώσουν την αλήθεια του Βιβλίου της Αποκάλυψης έξω στον κόσμο.
Όσο για τη μουσική τους το μόνο που έχω να πω είναι ότι οι Father Murphy θα μπορούσαν να είναι η Ευρωπαϊκή απάντηση στους περίφημους Swans, και αυτό λέει πολλά.
Το Anyway Your Children Will Deny It είναι η τελευταία τους κυκλοφορία και στέκεται σε πολύ υψηλά επίπεδα, τολμώ να πω ότι μου άρεσε περισσότερο από όλες τις δουλειές τους και με έκανε να τους προσέξω ακόμα περισσότερο.
Μια μπάντα που θα ήθελα πολύ να την δω να παίζει ζωντανά στη χώρα μας.
Αξίζει να αναζητήσετε και τις παλιότερες δουλειές τους και να γνωρίσετε τον συναρπαστικό αλλά και τρομακτικό κόσμο των Father Murphy.
