The Hail Seizures translate dark punk and underground hardcore into acoustic instruments. There is a slipshod and improvised characteristic to their lineup: bottom of the line acoustic guitars, a drumset made from a suitcase, a childs violin and an old cello that clashes wildly with the ornately composed songs, that jump back and froth between catchy sing along choruses to brutal and lopsided rythyms that you would expect more from your local metal band than any normal folk act. Interesting collaboration. Mumford and Sons,Laura Marling (Noah and the Whale) & Dharohar Project (traditional Rajasthani folk collective) teamed up for a collaborative album of recordings they made during a recent Indian tour.
The EP features 4 songs, including collaborative re-workings of Mumford and Sons’ song ‘To Darkness’, and Laura Marling’s ‘Devil’s Spoke’.

The Goner is a psychedelic folk rock band from Stockholm, Sweden.
They mix the sound of North American 90s rock with folk music influences and raga inspired drone. The Goner was founded in 2008 and began as a solo project by singer and songwriter Daniel Westerlund. Soon the project developed into a full band constellation.
